Barry’s Jewelers was one of the largest independent retailers of fine jewelry in the United States, with over 117 stores in 18 states, and growing! Our stores were located in convenient regional shopping malls.

Where We Are

Our stores operate under different names in different regions of the country: Schubach Jewelers in the Mid-West, Pennsylvania, the Carolinas and Rocky Mountain States; Mission Jewelers in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico; Hatfield Jewelers and A. Hirsh & Son in California; and Samuels Jewelers in California and Arizona.

What We Sell

We offer a wide range of fine jewelry including wedding sets and other bridal merchandise, rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings and watches and giftware. From children’s jewelry to our exclusive Vogue Collection, Barry’s Jewelry stores offer something for every taste, price range and gift occasion.

Our Fortieth Anniversary

This year we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the opening of our first Barry’s Jewelers store. We have come a long way. We are known as America’s Bridal Store and have helped thousands of couples start their lives together. We’re an innovator of customer service plans, and trade-in plans.

Our Credit Plans

Barry’s Jewelers has an in-house credit department, allowing us to offer credit accounts to a greater range of customers than would otherwise be possible. We provide several different credit plans and work hard to fit each credit customer with the best plan possible.

Barry’s salesmakers are jewelry professionals, committed to providing you with the best service before, during and after your purchase. Each salesmaker must complete a comprehensive training course which was developed exclusively for Barry’s.

Our stores offer a Trade-In program that allows you to trade in diamond jewelry at any time for new diamond jewelry.

We give the full retail value of the original Barry’s diamond merchandise towards the purchase of new diamond merchandise. The purchase price of the new merchandise must be at least twice the retail value of the merchandise being traded in.

A trade-in is an excellent way for you to purchase an updated jewelry style or better quality diamond jewelry using the value you’ve already invested. For example, a couple approaching their tenth anniversary might want to trade in an engagement ring for something that was financially out of reach when they were just starting out.

Protect and Preserve Service Policy

We offer an exclusive Protect and Preserve Policy (PPSP) for nearly every item we sell. For a nominal fee, based on the retail value of the jewelry being purchased, your jewelry investment is protected for as long as you own it.

Bring your PPSP-protected jewelry to any of our 117 stores every three months for a free cleaning and inspection, and the policy will cover any repairs the jewelry might ever need. This service includes sizing, prong repairs, even diamond and gemstone replacement!

It is the best policy of its kind among jewelry retailers.

The Vogue Collection

The Vogue collection of fine jewelry is exclusive to Barry’s Jewelers! It is a special collection of beautiful rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings in 14K and 18K gold. Most of the Vogue collection contains diamonds and some pieces feature gemstones. The collection also includes several all gold pieces. This collection represents the newest styles in the jewelry industry, at affordable prices.

Returns and Exchanges

You may return anything you buy from us for 30 days after its purchase for a full refund, as long as the merchandise is in like-new condition. You may exchange anything you buy from us for 90 days after its purchase, provided the merchandise is in like-new condition.

All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by the original sales receipt and picture identification. We will refund your money the same way you paid, except for cash refunds over $100. These are paid by check mailed from our corporate office.
