Silverman's Jewelers
Samuels has been serving jewelry customers since 1891. Samuel Jewelers Inc., which sells fine jewelry and watches, reached an agreement to purchase the assets of C & H Rauch of Lexington, Kentucky.
“With this acquisition, Samuels entered Kentucky as one of, if not the most, dominant jewelers in the state,” said the president and chief executive officer. Samuels operated 175 stores in 25 states under the trade names Samuels, Samuels Diamonds, Andrews, Rogers, Schubach, C & H Rauch, A. Hirsh & Son, Hatfield Jewelers, and Harts and Silverman’s.
C & H Rauch operated 40 retail jewelry stores in five states.
Silverman's Jewelers operated 17 stores in nine states, and by acquiring the company Samuels Jewelers once again proved itself to be competitive within the jewelry industry. Finlay Fine Jewelers acquired the brand in 2012.
